## Activities

**Purposes:** The committee is established to promote community capacity building through involving residents of the estate and surrounding areas to promote the protection and preservation of health of and the benefit of the inhabitants of the Shandon Park area and its environs (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender ethnic identify political, religious or other opinion by associating the statutory authorities voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education , and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreaton or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants, and ancillary to the foregoing.  This will be done through Fundraising, submitting funding Applications and using any donations received towards the Committee objects.
