The organisation is established to promote the health and wellbeing of the inhabitants of the Lisburn and Greater Lisburn area who are primarily but not exclusively aged 18 and over and living with a physical disability or long-term illness, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance their education, health and wellbeing, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
