**Purposes:** The Company Objects are: to provide for the benefit of the inhabitants of the communities in and around Eglish and the Oona river, without distinction of age, sex, race, political or other opinion, by  associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, protect public health, relieve poverty and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.
