Friends of Cullion Trustees Report for 2024-2025
Now in its 2[nd] year we were delighted to see the support for the group increase amongst the school community. We have more parents volunteer to get involved and being able to pay forward to the work of the school has been amazing.
Once again the biggest event we took on this year was our school fun day and colour run. This event was supported by local businesses and our local council to take place and without their support the event would not be possible so we want to say a huge thank you to them for their support.
We went on to have the thirs of the now annual movie nights which was another really enjoyable night for everyone and now looked forward to by parents and students alike.
Easy Fundraising is going from strength to strength and a big push added another 10 parents to the group giving some steady income.
This year we supported the school with the school trip and the leavers hoodies starting a tradition in the school to give back to those leaving us.
We also this year looked into a new fundraiser which was our Afternoon tea which we held for mothers day in 2025. It was enjoyed by all and they already can’t wait for next years.
We also held an Easter guess the name of the bunny event to raise funds for the local Down Syndrome society on behalf of our amazing Mrs McCoy and little Nancy who is very popular amongst the students. An amazing sign of real community coming together when we can do something to support others.
Another great year in the Friends of Cullion group and we look forward to more exciting events in the future.
