**Purposes:** To improve the quality of life for all residents of Newtownhamilton and surrounding area, without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by working with statutory agencies, voluntary organisations, business, and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, health and wellbeing, recreation, and access to services and activities.   To manage Newtownhamilton Community Centre and facilitate services and activities, provided for the benefit of all residents of Newtownhamilton.  To ensure the proper conduct of events or functions held in the premises and the proper use of facilities provided by the Council
