Purpose I
Advancing the education of pupils in the school. The benefit which flows from this purpose
inrludes incre35ed educational progress and 2ttainrnent ol pupils in the school and links bttilt
with the local cornrnunity. This is dcrnon5trated through pupils having access to resource5, event5.
activitie5 and links Wlth the local comtnuniiy whith are not available throlagh direct school funding.

Payment Format as permitted by Charities Commission regulations.
A draft set ol accounts were presented to the CDmmittee before being presented to the
members at the AGM for lorrnal approval.
The Accounts demonstratè the funds ol Parent5 and Friends of Portadown College to be sufficiently
In surplus to allow lor the activities ol Parents and Friends of Portadown College to continue
without disruption.
At the end of the fiftancial year the total assets less liabilitie5 of Parents and Friends OF Porradown

My role is to State whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me
cause to believe..
That accounting records were not kept in accordante with section 63 of the
Charities Act INorthern Ireland) 2008,.
That the account5 do not accord with those accounting records,.
That the accounts do not comply with the accoursting requirements of
section 68 of the Charities Act INorthern Irelandl 2008 and with the
methods and principles of the Charities Statement of Recomniended
Practice applicable to charities preparin8 their accounts in accordance with
the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland,.
That there is further information needed for a proper understandin8 of the
accounts to be reached.
