Page 9 Kilskeery Free Presbyterian Church Notes to the finaftcial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024 Accounting policies Set out below are the principal accounting policies which have been adopted in the compilation of the Receipts and Payments Account and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities (a) Receipt5 and Payments Account All items of income arid expenditure included within the Receipts and Payments Account have been accounted for on a cash receipts basis. {b) Statement of Assets and Liabilities li) Assets retuinedfor the Porish's own use The assets of the Parish. retained for its own use comprise-_ Church Building, Graveyard and School Buildint7 Manse House Mission Hall Residential Property Fixtures and fittings The Church Building and Graveyard are deemed to be Heritage assets as defined by the Charities SORP IFRS102) These Heritage assets are not included in the statoment of as5et5 and liabilitie5 as information on the cost or valuation is not avai13ble and >uch information cannoi be obtained at a cost commensurate with the benefit to the users of the accounts and to the parish. On the same basis. the school building has no va5uation attributed. Other properties are at deemed cost, bein8 the estimated fair value of the property at 31 December 2024. No depreciation has been provided on the property as the current estimated residual .4alue is not less than its carrying value and the rem3ining useful life currently exceeds 50 year5. Fixtures and Fittings are recognised at a cost of renewal basis.

Pur oses of Desi nated Funds Outreach Fund_. The Trustees have chosen to set aside funds but these are not restricted. Manse Fund= Funds received and maintained for the speciftc purpose of rnaintain the manse. 7. Transactions with the Trustees The parish paid expenses of £11,469 relating to the running costs of the manse house which is occupied by the rector. There were no payments m3de to trustees during the year. No trustee or a person related to a trustee had any personal interest in any contract or transaction entered into by the charity during the year.
