This report is made to the Church, as a body. in accordance with the ternis of our engagement. We have carried out this engagement in accordance with the guidance issued by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and have complied with the ethical guidance laid down by the Institute relating to members undertaking the compilation of fmancial statements. Priiiciplc acrouutillg poliri¢3 The following accounting policies have been applied consistently in dealing with items which are considered material in relation to the financial slatements. 1.1 Basis of preparation The financial statcmcnts have bc¢n prePa￿d in aGcordanc¢ with Unitcd Kingdom gencrally accepted accoiinting pravtice. Ac¥ounting standards generally aicepted in the United Kingdom, for preparing financial statements giving a true and fair vicw, are thosc publishcd by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and issued by the Accounting Standards Board. 1.2 Financial Statements The financial statements only include a Statement of Income and Expenditure.
