Introductlon
The Free Presbyterixn r.hurch of Ulstey came into being on q 7th March 1951 as a testitp,rtnii trJ) the historic
faith of Presbyterians that emphasised the inspiration and authority of Scripture against the liberal,
rationalist infidelity that had made serious inroads into Presbyterlantsm in ireland as well as the other main
Protestsnt denomlnations.

Congregations which accept and uphold the Articles of Falth. It is Protestant in its basis, Presbyterian In Its

Church is estab5ished to benefit its members and the general public, both at home and abroad through the

law. It encourages demonstrable acts in the world such as fervent evangelism, missionary effort, the

through attendance at public worshlp as well as regularevaluation of activities, Fnformal and ad-hocfeedback

Moneyslane Free Presbyterian Church carrles out the following activities
The church conducts public worship through the following regular services- Lord's Day morning
and evening worship, prayer meetings, Adult Blble Class. Sunday School, Weekly Prayer Meeting,
Youth Fellowship and Children's Meetings,
Conducts Public worship through the following special services- Gospel Misslons, teaching
conferences, special times of prayer, Youth rallies, baptism servlces and other special meetings.
The Elders attend the monthly Presbytery meetings.
Representatives attend the monthly Mi55ionary Council meetings.
The Kirk Session interview and accept new commuriicant members.
The Kirk Session provide pastoral support forthe members and attendees.
The Kirk Session meet regularly to provide spiritual overslght.
The Church Committee meets regularly to oversee the financial and practical matters.
The Church supports the Work of Radio and TV broadcasting through Let the Bible Speak and the
training activitles in the Whitefield College of the Bible. Encourages fervent evangelism in the rest
of the VK through the work of the Mainland Commisslon and the growing rnisslonary work through
the Missicn Board and The Free Presbyterian Mission Society Africa. Supports the work of Christian
Education through the work of the Education Board.
The Church provides trainin8 and refresher courses to those involved in deliverSng its spl¥itual work
such as First Aid and Child Protectlon and Safeguarding.
StructurÈ; Governance a.nd M3.naEement
The Trustees meet on a regular basis to discuss the work of the church, and to make decisions concerning
the artivities within the church. Matters are reported to Church Members at the Annual General Meeting
when the Financlal Report is given and the Account5 are presented.

Kirk Session to assist it in managing the Church's flnances and assets and in making decisions regarding the
day to day financial and material affairs of the Church.

The main source of Income Is from weekly offerings, and voluntary gifts and donations, supplemented by the
use of Gift Aid and the Gift Ald Small Donations Scheme.
The tota! amount rAr•ivAA during the year amounted to £156382 from which totsl payments in the amount
of £126,650 were made, leavlng a net surplus of £29,732 for the year compared with ? net deflclt of £8,899
in the prevlous year. Cash funds held at the ye3r end amounted to £77,624 (2023: £47,892}.
The Church reserves policy Is to accumulate sufficient reserve5 to provide cover for 12 months operating
expenses and future capital projects.

The trustees have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are adequate funds
in place to ensure that the Church can continue its activities and the financlal statements for the year ended
