The festival is to be held as a cross community biennial event and aims to entertain the people of the town and promote its artists, food, locations and wares, and give a general boost to the local community. The majority of events within the festival will aim to be free of charge, focusing especially on families within the town of Kilrea. \u2022\tTo create an inclusive group that can be accessed and contributed in by any adult individual from the town of Kilrea, so that all backgrounds can be represented and have a voice in the upcoming projects within the town.  \u2022\tTo plan and run small projects for the benefit of the town, such as park maintenance, site enhancement and entertainment events. These projects will be run free of charge in majority of cases with the help of local volunteers and where necessary support from the local council and grant funding groups.
