**Purposes:** The charity’s purposes (‘the purposes’) are   To promote the benefit of women in the wider Lisburn area (herein described as ‘the area of benefit’) without discrimination of age, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort, to advance education and provide facilities and/or activities in the interest of social welfare, recreation, and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving quality of life for the said inhabitants. The organization shall be non-political and non-sectarian in membership and activities Promoting the preservation and protection of health and a greater sense of wellbeing among women and a reduction in social isolation through greater involvement in various activities including training and community development.
