The trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31[st] October 2025. 

## **Purpose of Inspire Saval** 

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Saval and its environs without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants. 

## **Summary** 

Inspire Saval aim to: 

- Promote amateur sport and participation in healthy recreation 

- Provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for those living in the area of benefit 

- Promote community development by providing facilities and support for community and voluntary groups and organisations and encouraging and assisting such organisations to cooperate to achieve their aims 

- Relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage 

- Advance education and training 

- Promote good community relations and social cohesion, racial harmony and equality and diversity 

- To raise funds and accept gifts and carry out trading in support of its objectives and comply with any statutory regulations 

The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the charity should undertake. 

The objective of Inspire Saval is to ensure all activities will have a positive impact on community life in Saval with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of our community.  We aim to increase the opportunities for local people to benefit from social, educational, sporting and leisure activities in a safe and inclusive environment. 

## **Financial Summary** 

Inspire Saval received a grant from Newry, Mourne & Down Council for £990, Youth Club income of £966.15 and fundraising of £10,290.66 from a Penny Draw Fundraiser.  The fundraising money was received across two financial years.  Professional fees of £7,200 were paid during the financial year, 



£2,250 for the balance of fee for providing the master business plan which was funded through the grant and £4,920 for architecture plans and £30 for youth action members.  Youth Club expenses of £1,869, bank fees of £53.16, Fundraising Prizes of £3,000, Donation for half of the fundraising to Saval GAC of £4,065 and company house fees of £34 occurred during the year.  Total receipts for the year was £12,246.81 and expenses £16,221.16, with a balance of cash at bank and on hand of £4,741.55.
