The Financial Statements comply with ihe Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008, the Companies Act 2006, the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommeiided Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the financial reporting standard for smaller entities. Objectives and activities The main purpose is the advancement of health or th¢ saving of lives. The relief of those in need by reason of youth, agc, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. We aim to provide a service that everyone will be able to access and relate to and we will promote positive mental health practises as well as promotingy all the essential services available to anyone who knows someone or is themselves in a crisis. The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland in deciding what activities the charitable company should undertake. Achievements and performanee The trustees are satisfied with the results for the year considering this is the year of fomiation. The trustees together with the committee have been working successfully to secure funding so that the cliaritable company can continue to expand thcir work. The company successfully launched a Mental Health Calendar for 2024 with 12 of the biggest charities in Northern Ireland signed up to promote their services within the Mental Health Sector. Financial review The charitable company's financial results are set out in detail on pages 7 to 12. There is ap. overall surplus on funds this year of £3,565. The trustees and the committee are continuing to investigate avenues of gyenerating addilional incomc. Structureg governance and management The charitable company is a company limited by guarantee, governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association dated 23 January 2023. The trustees who served during the year and up to the date of sigrnature of the financial statements were: Conor Hegarty David Ginesi The trustees of the charitable company are also directors for the purposes of company law. None of the directors have any beneficial interest in the charitable company. In the event of the charitable company being wound up, members are rcquired to contribute an amount not exceeding £1.
