Activities

• To raise awareness, and addressing the issues, surrounding the risk of suicide amongst those in the autistic community, particularly those aged 13 and above • To provide dedicated service devoted to the dissemination of infor-mation and support for autistic young people and adults, who strug-gle with the day-to-day realities of life, and making decisions. • To liaise and collaborate with individuals and their support network in the development of a tailored treatment and crisis management plan. • To work in partnership with researchers, mental health clinicians, mental health & suicide prevention charities, and Policy makers to develop and sustain effective practises specific to the autistic com-munity. • To deliver accredited autism awareness courses, suicide prevention and intervention training programmes for anyone who could come into contact with an autistic individual in the course of their work or everyday life. • To provide one-to-one counselling as part of our postvention sup-port, helping those that have lost loved ones, or anyone affected by suicide.
