This report covers the Financial Period 1/9/24 through to 31/8/25. 

The AGM of Bocombra PS PTA was held on 17[th] September 2025, chaired by Mr Mark Vallelly – school principal at Bocombra PS. 

At the meeting the outgoing chairperson of the PTA Mrs Carol Cooper thanked the committee for all their hard work and support given in the previous school year outlining the work the PTA had completed during the 2024/25 academic year. 

The fundraisers included: 

Calendars 

Tuck Shops 

Sponsored Walk 

Summer Fun Day 

Scavenger Hunt 

Pre-Loved Book Sale 

Easter Eggs for Pupils 

Year 7 Leaver Group Photographs 

Mrs Cooper also highlighted the tremendous support the PTA funds had been in helping the school upgrade 4 new laptop computers for Key Stage 2 and 12 new music stands for the school orchestra, host the Summer Fun Day, provided Easter Eggs for each pupil, and purchase the Year 7 Leaver’s Photograph. This amounted £5968.32. This also included £150.00 per classroom to purchase play 

and other equipment.  Mr Vallelly thanked Mrs Cooper for her and her committee’s dedication and hard work throughout 2024/25. 

Mr Vallelly presented the accounts for the 2024/25 year which have been independently audited. 

The trustees have regard to the Charity’s Commission’s Public Benefit requirement, and it has been previously agreed that the report of the outgoing Chair would be an effective summary of the previous PTA activities in the period covering the financial year. 

The PTA started the 2024/25 academic year with a credit balance of £5153.20 and finished it with a credit balance of £6413.42.  This reflected a total income of £7228.54 and expenditure of £5968.32. There is no other fund held by the Charity and therefore nothing is in deficit.
