We had a busy year with Welfare for Veterans. We had 2 veterans who
were homeless, so we had to get help from other charities to help get
them into accommodation. We also visited veterans to make sure they
were coping and if help either financial or other was required.

Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the branch
during the year
As a small Branch due to the age of most of our members we were
able to check on our very elderly members, as we increased the
RAFA profile in this area. We were invited as a military charity to
meetings with other military charities we have never previously been
involved with and hopefully we can keep this going.
Our aims are to assist veterans and their families and to that end we
had a very busy year.
We had to ask for assistance from another veterans charity in some
extreme cases.
Due to the cost of living, we were contacted by veterans requiring
financial assistance.
