Activities

1) To establish the Association as a cross community organisation with representatives from both communities with the objective of developing the relevance of our common history, to promote tolerance in pursing the principles of respect for diversity and emphasising common community interests. 2) To create and promote opportunities for Peace Building , Conflict Reduction and Resolution through dialogue. The members pledge themselves to the resolving of conflict through dialogue and reject all forms of violence as a means of creating change. 3) To contribute to the knowledge of the common history of both sections of our community as a contribution to conflict reduction, resolution and improving cross-community relations. 4) The Association will support the ongoing community based reconciliation work of its present and future members. 5) The Association will work with other groups, organisations and bodies to further these aims and objectives.
