A summary of the Charity’s main ac8vi8es to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

14 girls aged between 7-10 years aWended weekly on Monday evenings enjoying fun and friendship.

The season began with a CoronaNon Tea party. We also had many campfires throughout the year enjoying hotdogs and s’mores. Throughout the year, we worked through several of the Girlguiding programme themes, with the girls achieving their Make Change, Explore and Communicate badges. We also had a visit from Emma Pengelly, local MLA to celebrate Parliament Week and the girls engaged in lively debates to earn their Parliament badge. Santa aWended our Christmas party and we held our annual Christmas Promise Service in the church with several of the girls doing prayers, readings and singing following by light refreshments for all the girls and their families. In February, we had a tour of our local Tesco with the girls working in teams to budget for a simple meal plan and all the girls had the chance to become cashiers and scan their shopping. We finished the year off with a trip to AirtasNc for ten pin bowling and dinner.

The overall posiNon is healthy. There is no debts or reserves to record. The opening balance on 01/09/22 was £205.27 and closing balance on 31/08/23 of £999.11 thanks to the EducaNon Authority Grant.
