Charity’s purpose

The Club/Charity is established to promote community participation in Association Football, by the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time activities in the interests of social welfare for the benefit of the general public, with particular emphasis placed on participants from varied varied ethnic backgrounds, in the Belfast area and its environments of Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic identity, religious or political beliefs or nationality: and in particular; a) to educate and assist individuals within the area of benefit through the provision of association football facilities and other recreational activities.

The charity is run by a constituted committee who meet on as needed basis to review the progress of activities. Activities are delivered by volunteers. No private benefit to committee members, members or volunteers is observed within the charity.

Main achievements during the year

The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance, and have had regard to this when running the charity.

A review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the year:

In the financial year April 2023 to March 2024, the Charity had an income of £1,917 and an expenditure of £5,570. It is noted however that the charity’s opening balance, as of April 2023, was £6,792 (as noted in the charity’s accounts), covers the charity’s Deficit of £3,653 for the financial period covered in this report.
