## **Trustees Report for The Village Armagh Ltd (“The Village”)** 

This report will cover the full period from the start of the charity 8[th] March 2022- 8[th] March 2023.

The Village is a charity registered with the Charity Commission NI (registration date: 28[th] September 2022.  Charity Registration number: NIC109074). 

Charitable Purposes: 

1. To create inclusive spaces for women and children to be, gather and connect, where they are supported and support others with compassion, empathy and kindness and without competition. 

2. To encourage and enable friendship, support, connection and community amongst women in Armagh, its surrounding areas and beyond and to promote social inclusion. 

3. To encourage and facilitate the coming together of groups of women and children to learn and share skills. 

4. To encourage and promote intergenerational social interaction and skill sharing for their 

support. 

## – Outputs what The Village has done 

- Facilitate and host community groups 

- Facilitate and host paid groups and classes 

- Provide a welcoming, supportive and inclusive space for women and children in the Armagh area. 

- Provide a space for recycling collection (Terracycle), distribution of food bank vouchers and period poverty supplies 

- Represent Armagh women at events 

- Sharing information
