The charity's objects ("Objects") are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of North Belfast and its environs (the "area of benefit"), without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, disabiltiy, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion, and in particular: The advancement of citizenship and community development by: promoting active citizenship and volunteering in th community; providing facilities, amenities and support to community and voluntary groups and organisations; promoting good community relations, social inclusion and cohesion, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity; fostering a sense of community by encouraging and celebrating a sense of place, civic pride and ownership and an appreciation of all aspects of local heritage.
