## Activities

**Purposes:** The rescue, care and rehabilitation back to the wild, of all species of native wildlife which are incapacitated through illness, injury, abandonment or suffering. Providing advice, assistance, training or support to both members of the public and relevant professionals pertaining to the animal welfare of Northern Irish wildlife in particular. Promotion of the conservation, protection and improvement of biodiversity, wildlife habitat and natural spaces throughout the province. Promotion of civic responsibility through community-based wildlife projects and inclusion of schools in delivering a wildlife education programme. To establish Northern Ireland’s first purpose-built infirmary for wild animals. Assisting in, and undertaking, research into matters pertaining to animal welfare and the protection of wild animals in particular.
