Broomhill & Drumnahuncheon Resident's Association ANNUAL MONITORING RETURN ,

2025

eDate of Submission: 27/11/2025

eKey points to include:

eone of our main focus is to foster a strong sense of community and provide engaging activities for all residents.

Our two main events this year, the Halloween and Christmas parties, were successful in bringing residents together."

Overview of Activities & Events

eHalloween Party 31 October:

We have a safe, fun environment for children and families, promoting neighbour interaction.

We had around 40 children and 20 adults attending, we had costume contest, games, we also had Food (sandwiches, cocktail sausages, sausage roles chips, cakes, etc..), while we had a few games (dancing chairs, statue still, etc..) with the kids. The adults interact with us and each other. At the end we went out with the kids trick or treat around the estate.

eAchievement: we received positive feedback from attendees, strengthened community bonds. Add a few new residents to the WhatsApp and Facebook group, where we share tips.

eChristmas Party 20/12/2025:

ewe celebrate the festive season together, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

eWe had about 100 people coming, we had festive music, food , Santa visit (one of the neighbour dressed as Santa), overall a great atmosphere. In this party as usually we had games for the kids, we done a raffle with great prizes (ex: one night in hotel with breakfast). And we also had Santa taking a picture and gifting every child a present.

We had a very positive outcome strong attendance demonstrated resident interest in community events.

Achievements and Community Engagement

The events we hosted helped neighbours connect who otherwise might not have met.

Many residents expressed appreciation for the opportunity to socialize locally.

Due to the group affords there are always people who made the events possible by donating money, time, gifts(Like toys for the kids, games to be played in events, etc..). This demonstrates active participation within the group. Also in the social media, neighbours share good deals they see, give unwanted items, they have shared what services they provide (hairdresser, handy man).

Recommendations

ewe have the desire for more frequent events in the coming year. eWe are Encouraging more residents to join the committee or volunteer.
