Results The Statement of Financial Activities for the year ended 31 January 2024 is set out on page 9. Political donations The Charity did not make any political donations during the year or in the preceding year. Company law requires the Directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under that law the Directors have elected to prepare the financial statements in accordance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice IUK Accounting Standards and applicable lawl. The Directors are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the Charity's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. The Directors are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. Accounting records The measures taken by the Directors to secure compliance with the requirements of Section 386 to Section 389 of the Companies Act 2006, with regard to keeping of accountin8 records, are the employment of appropriately qualified accounting personnel and the maintenance of computerised accounting systems.
