Section C Notes to the Accounts

C1 Nature and Unrestricted funds are available for general purposes in accordance with the charity's purposes. purpose of funds (We have a cottage in the Mourne Mountains leased for our use but not owned by the club. This serves the purpose of encouraging participants into the outdoors for hill walking and climbing in (may be stated on accordance with the charity's purposes. Guests are encouraged to make suggested donations to analysis of funds the club but it is optional). We lease from the owner at a cost of £1 per year. This lease is in place worksheets) until 2027.

All of the equipment we use for our climbing activities is personal and there is no equipment owned by the club. Individual club trips are not aimed to make a profit. Where possible we try to break even. If costs are significantly lower than expected then we give refunds to trip participants.
