The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the promotion of the following purposes for the benefit of the public: 4.1 to encourage, promote, develop, manage and control all hockey in Ulster; 4.2 to administer the funds of the charity; 4.3 to appoint employee(s) and/or contractors for the efficient administration of the objectives of the charity; 4.4 to make, maintain and publish rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the proper running of the charity; 4.5 to operate exclusively for charitable purposes; and 4.6 to do all such other things as may be necessary or conducive for the attainment of the above objectives. Nothing in the articles authorises an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and/or section 2 of the Charities Act 2011 and or section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
