Cairde na Gaelscoil is a charity whose main aim is to promote education through the medium of Irish. It is formed from parents and friends of Gaelscoil Uí Dhochartaigh which is an Irish medium primary school in Strabane. During 2023-2024 various Irish language and family-oriented event were organised example Easter egg hunt, visit by Santa Claus
All events were very well attended and feedback from participants was positive therefore the charity believes that we are of high public benefit.
Due to the ongoing financial stresses that our families are under we ran events at no cost using resources that the primary school already had.
