**Purposes:** Cairde na Gaelscoile is a charitable organisation with the purpose of advancing the education of pupils in Gaelscoil Uí Dhochartaigh in particular by: •	Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; •	Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. •	It is also intended that Cairde na Gaelscoile will improve relationships between home and school which will mean greater parent involvement in school life and in the children’s education.
