## **Charity’s organisational structure** 

- The charity is a branch of the Royal Air Forces Association which is a Royal Charter body The Association has many branches all of which share the same charitable object as the Association and are subject to the same constitution. 

- All Trustees are reminded of their responsibilities by Chairman on taking up post and regularly after following Charity Committee guidance 

All financial matters are discussed at each and every meeting

|**Summary of the main activities**<br>**undertaken for the public benefit**<br>**in relation to these objects**<br>**(include within this section the**<br>**statutory declaration that**<br>**trustees have had regard to the**<br>**guidance issued by the Charity**<br>**Commission on public benefit)**|The Trustees  have had at all times due regard to the guidance issued<br>by the Charity Commission on public benefit.<br>This year has been one of recovery and increased activity for the County<br>Fermanagh Branch, Royal Air Forces Association.  We have been active<br>in keeping in touch with our members through phone calls, emails and<br>text messaging and a number of activities and meetings.  We also were<br>very much remembering those who give so much in the World Wars and<br>more recent conflict through our participation in commemorating<br>Remembrance Sunday in Enniskillen and in Irvinestown.<br>In carrying out all of our activities we are mindful of the Byelaws and<br>Rules of the overall Royal Air Forces Association and while we only in<br>Sept 2022 were awarded our Charity Status and number,  we have at all<br>times during the year followed the guidance of the Charity Commission<br>Northern Ireland.<br>During the year the Branch managed to achieve grant funding of<br>£500.00  for a wellbeing project which consisted of three very well<br>attended events taking place over three months in the Aisling centre,<br>Enniskillen.  This very much tied in with the RAFA Well Being strategy.<br>Our Welfare Officers have  also regularly contacted all members of the<br>County Fermanagh Branch to check that they are well and to keep in<br>touch and abreast of the news concerning RAFA.  The Branch also runs<br>a Whats App Group that many of our members find valuable.|







## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

In the year we were pleased through our WINGS fundraising, managed to **Summary of the main** raise £3331.86p which was forwarded on to HQ on 28[th] November 2023 **achievements of the branch during the year** The County Fermanagh Branch operate entirely with volunteers and without their free giving of their time and expertise we could not continue to deliver our activities.

The Branch operates with minimal financial transactions and have **Brief statement of the branch’s** adequate reserves to operate for at least 6 months **policy on reserves Details of any funds materially in** None **deficit**
