A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
1[st] Millisle & Carrowdore Brownie and Guide Unit is a group of girls between 7 years old and 14 years old who meet through the year from 6.30-8.30pm. During the year, there were 30 brownies and guides in regular attendance.
It was a busy year with our first weekend camp at Lorne attended by 15 of the girls and another 8 joining us for the day on Saturday. The girls enjoyed the Gladiator Climbing adventure and the zipline in the park. Everyone got their first girlguiding blanket and made their own badges to put on it. The girls enjoyed seeing Santa at Lorne, a fun day in Comber and did our annual sponsored walk in Donaghadee.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
