**Purposes:** The objects of the Charity are the advancement of education in Northern Ireland and in particular: - To promote excellence in the study of biology, botany, chemistry or physics or such other subjects as the Trustees may from time to time determine in schools in Northern Ireland; - To promote that excellence by a scheme of awards based on results in Northern Ireland A Level and O Level Examinations or their equivalents; - To promote social and cultural studies within Northern Ireland in fields associated with the work of Sir Hans Sloane by such means as the Trustees may from time to time determine.
