seen tonl8ht as the money earmarked for the Publlc Inquiry has ri￿Tr steeply from £4
this time last year to £34,314.51 on the 1st Ckt 2023. We as a 8roup ￿ gratefvl for •# th¢
fundralsln& Idea5 and support other 8roups have to us thls pxt year.
Donations thls ￿ar came to a total of £32,(￿l.51, thls figure was read￿ from calen
sales £5455 Icost to make £2250, profft of £3205) DAMN hosted a concert ￿lch ralsed
£16￿, Leamiount Art Exhlbltion £1770.21, PARC cards £SII), Connle O'kane famlly d￿*d
a bottle of colns totallln8 £1504.61. There was theques and cash donated when ￿ set up an
onllne Crowdfunder whichls provln8 very successfvl and continues to gr￿ each day, so
many people have donated we could not POSslbly name them all. A Breat * was hosted I
Omagh wlth many of the speakers donating thelr fee towards the public iftqulry cost. We
close the year confident wtth more hard work by everyone that we can and wlll ratse enou8h
money to employ the experts needed to fi8ht the Publlc Inquiry.
Friends Of Earth has klndly donated the remainln8 £420.03 from the Na￿ Amerlcans vlslt
to US, SO this now closes the Native Amerlcan fund whlch vras held in Save (￿r Sperrkns
Account. The vi51t and water walk proved a yeat success and enknd by au.
NIPSA Trade Union donated £5CX), and we hope other Lknlons ￿ follow thelr eyample.
FUTURE OUTLOOK FOR YEAR 2023-2024
We hope to contonue fundraisln& wlth many events already In the pipellne, It ￿ heartenh
to know that many anti mlning groups and protectors throughout Ireland are busy plannin8
events. A deposlt has been paid to the millennium Forum in derry for a comedy/ muskal
night, starrln8 Kevin McAleer which wlll be exclting. Co. aare Keep Tulla untouched are
plannin8 a concert starring Damien Demsey and other artist& In Belfast a weeklon8 festl
includin8 an art exhlbition wlth many artists donatlng thelr to raise for the
Crowdfunder, others are or8an12in8 a night of music In Belfast.
There is a free Halloween event planned for An Creg8an by SOS to thank those who h
kindly donated to our campaign. December ts not lookin8 quiet th a c￿nedY n*t
planned for Ma8hera.
