## Objectives and activities of the charity 

The RB Cameron Foundation is a grant making foundation set up to support other organisations and causes which have been found eligible in accordance with the charitable objectives of the charity, namely: 

- ¢ The prevention or relief of poverty e The advancement of education e The advancement of religion e The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage. 

## Achievements and performance of the charity 

There are no achievements to report to date, other than the registration of the Foundation and progress in the setting up of a bank account. 

## Public benefit statement 

The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit. There are no tangible benefits to date other than the establishment of the Foundation but that in itself is a start. 

## Financial Review 

The financial results are as set out on pages 4-7 of the accounts. There has been no activity since the charity has been set up in May 2022. Income and expenditure is expected within the next financial year. 

## Structure, governance, and management 

The RB Cameron Foundation is a registered charity. 

The Trustees who have served since registering are as follows:

## STATEMENT OF TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the annual report and the financial statements of the charity in accordance with applicable law and generally accepted accounting practice. 

As the charity's total income does not exceed £250,000, the Trustees have elected under Section 64(3) of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 to prepare a receipts and payment account and a statement of assets and liabilities. 

The Trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the charity's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time its financial position. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
