## **STRUCTURE & GOVERNANCE**
The Charity is operated by Ms Busby. PCOS Vitality is a completely digital entity with an online webpage and social media presence including a Facebook support Group. We have several volunteers who help with social media. No-one receives any remuneration. We operate using free digital and social media sites including our webpage. Appointed Trustees meet regularly to review goals and set plans.

## **Summary of the objectives of the charity set out in its governing document**
Raising awareness of PCOS will lead to earlier opportunities for diagnosis, prevention of long-term complications and better support for people with PCOS. This can be demonstrated in the amount of people engaging with us as there is currently no charity for PCOS in Ireland. General awareness among the public should also increase. There is no potential for harm as we are solely providing information that is general. No medical advice is given. Women and people with PCOS are the main beneficiaries but the public at large will also benefit by understanding more about PCOS through our work.
## **Summary of Main Activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objectives**
Facebook Peer Support Group, Social Media Awareness Campaigns, Publication of online information for educational purposes. These activities increase understanding and awareness of the condition which can help people get earlier diagnosis/treatment and can also reduce stigma. No fees are charged for our membership/information.

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW**
|**PRINCIPAL SOURCE OF FUNDS**|We do not receive any funds and are
hoping to open a bank account in the
future. We are fortunate to be able to use
social media to our advantage as it is
free. We currently have a team of
volunteers who can help sometimes
although due to illness sometimes this
can be inconsistent which sets things
back from time to time. Nevertheless, we
do continue to raise a lot of awareness in
the local community and once we are
more established we should be able to
secure funding/donations.|

we can receive donations. We continue
to focus on community awareness to
help reduce stigma and to help increase
the likelihood that women will get an
earlier diagnosis thus reducing chances

REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF PCOS Vitality ON ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED April 2024 SET OUT ON PAGES 3-5
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts for the year ended XXXX. As the charity trustees of the Trust, You are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 (the Act). I note that the charity is not yet financially active with no bank account or accounts. I have completed by examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
