**Purposes:** The Band’s objectives are: a) To advance the public education in the appreciation of the art and music and in particular pipe Band music by the presentation of concerts and any other musical activities; b) To advance education and training in the art of music, particularly pipe Band music; c) To promote opportunities for and encourage greater participation by the youth within our community and in every part of our city; d) To promote opportunities for Band members and other interested individuals to acquire formal qualifications in all relevant grades and aspects of music.
