Charltable objects
l. The charity was established to improTre relationships between home and sch(x)l. The benefit which tkims
from this purpose includes funding for additional resources forthe school and links built with the lo
community. This is demonstratcd through having an active iyfA that works in partnership with the schLK)I
and engdgcs parental support.
2. Advancing the education of pupils in the school. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes
increased cducational Progress and attainm¢nt of pupils in the Sch￿1. This is demonstrated through pupr
havingaccess to resources. events, actil'ilies and links with the local community which are not availabk
through direct school funding.
Organlsadonal struclure
The charity is made up of a membership of both parcnts and stsffwho gii'e their time on a voluntarybasis and
work collectively. The trustees meet regularly. administer the charity and make all policy decisions.
Re%'ieJv of aetivities and achievements
We kicked off theyear with a Hallowren di￿0 with two separate sessions. Pupilscould make purch&s£s from a
tuck shop as well as latt005 and a lucky dip. We then orgallis￿ a Santa EX￿rienCe in Decanber which pupL8
and their familits thoroughly enjoyed. The Santa Experience included ￿fts from Santa, several craft activit
storytelling and refreshtrKnts: as well as craft slalls from the local conununity. We also held a summer fair with
the main entertainment being a climbing wall and bouncy castles from Hunter West.
The biggest fundraisLf this yearwas an Easterraffle whicb wouldn'l havebeenpossible withoutthe manypri7£5
donated by local businesses and indii'iduals.
We received a grant fromslieve Kirk foroutdoor furniture whichwas purchasLII in time for the sumrtr (emLWe
also received a grant from Asdafor Breakfast Club which wastransferredto the school and allpupils were givffl
the opportunity to avad of free breakfasi for a period.
VoluDteers
The charity is ￿teful for the unstinting efforts of its trustees and other volunteers who have continually
5UPPOrted their activities and management of the charity throughout the year.
Flnanclal revlew
Total Income of the charity during the year was £17,638, cornpared to £17,746 in the Previous year.
Total expenditure decreased from £15.366 to £11.258.

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Report and the fllwncial statenKnts in accordance wih
applicable law and regulations.
Charity law requires the ffiistees to prepare fthancial statements for each financial year which give a true and
fair view of the state of affairs of th¢charity at the year endand of ILS receipts and payments during that year.
In preparing those financial statements, the tnistees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.

The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting recor(Ls that are su￿1Clent to show and explain the
charity's transartions and disclose with rea￿T￿b]e acCu￿Y at any timc the financial position of the charty and
enable them to ensure that the financial Ststen￿ntS complywith section 65 of thecharities Act INI) 2(X)8. They
are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for tsking reasonable steps for the
prevention and detection of frdud and other irtegularities.
