## Activities

**Purposes:** Promote for the public benefit community participation in arts and cultural activities in the Derry and Strabane and surrounding areas (the ‘area of benefit’) by:   i) providing support and services for the education and training of people of all ages in carnival arts; ii) stimulating artistic creativity through the provision of activities and support for artistic expression; iii) providing access to a range of art forms and performance opportunities; and iv) initiating and facilitating projects to improve engagement in the arts, specifically carnival arts, for those from disadvantaged communities.
