Friends of Tannaghmore Trustee Annual Report Charity Number 108827 Period 01/07/2024 - 30/06/2025

Friends of Tannaghmore is a charity that is run by a committee of parents with children attending Tannaghmore Primary School, including trustees. All trustees and volunteers give their time freely and no remuneration or other benefits are received. The committee works in very close connection with school and staff. Overall, we are a fundraising organisation but an important part of our role is also strengthening and encouraging the home/school relationship, where teachers and parents work together to support and enhance the education of our children.

FOT have previously amended their reporting dates to align with the academic year for ease of reporting and review. During the above relevant period, fundraising activities continued to grow, focussing on incorporation into school run events involving parents, carers and the wider community in order to enhance links with the school community amongst all groups.

During the relevant period, FOT invested in several items of outdoor play for the benefit of Key Stage 1 pupils primarily, including a mud kitchen. Further expenditure on reusable equipment such as banners, underpin our commitment to sustainable growth and operation where possible.

Friends of Tannaghmore would like to express their thanks to all members of the group, all school staff and all parents who continue to contribute and support their fundraising attempts. It is very much appreciated.

The trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public benefit requirement statutory guidance. The charity was registered on 20/05/2022. Its governing document is the Friends of Tannaghmore Constitution.
