everyone. in our group, to help all people regardless of creed or class. I l)eliciie thi5 has
helped the group to bc the success it is. Our Residents have enjoyed irips Out which also
have been both educationally and a social ouling. Sonie of the places we l)ave vi%iled
include Glenarm castle. Glens ot Antrim, Titanic centre. The folk Museiim. cind in the
Drop Inn Centre ive regularly have Bingo evenings. Crochet classes. and pictures. videos.
films, from the memories of Larne iveb site.
Outdoor Activities include the polytunnel where they take part in growing vegetables.
plants and making hanging baskets. During the year there are meals foi" four weeks in a
large centre ivhere everyone has a dinner. sweet and cup of tea. but niost of 'ill thL'y get
chatting with friends and disabled vouths of the area. This is a big help as a lot of the
residents are elderly and not too mobile. During rhe year Fruit baskets are delivered to
their doors and again this gives them a chance for a chat and lor us to see if help is
required for them. This is only a few of the things the group has been doing over the
years,
