**Purposes:** 2.1	The aim of the Group is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents / carers to understand and provide for the needs of their children by: -  2.1.1	Offering appropriate play facilities, with the right of parents / carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the Group, ensuring the Group offers opportunities for all children, regardless of religion, culture, race or means. 2.1.2	Identifying the needs of children and their families; using this information to guide future programmes, activities and funding to be delivered within the community in order to meet those needs. 2.1.3	Instigating, adhering to and furthering the aims of the Early Years Organisation.
