The trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public benefit requirement statutory
guidance.
The Charity is governed by a Constitution.
The Charitable purposes of charity are..
The purpose of the association {the purposes) is to advance the educatlon of pupils in
the school in particular by:
Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with
the school;
Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and
advance the education of the pupils.
To further these purposes for the public benefit, we carried out the following activities:
The purpose of the Parent Support Group is to enrich our children's school experience.
We do this by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support
the school and advance the education of all our pupils. We also try and develop
effective relationships between staff, parents and other associated with the school. This
school year 2023124 was another excellent year for us and achieving these objectives.
This academic year we successfully applied for the following funding=
Co op Community Fund.. The PTA was part of the Co op Community Fund. Co op
supports and funds projects that benefits the local community. We were part of a funding
cycle which lasted for 12 months. The more members that shopped with Co-op and
choose to support our project, the more funding we received.
Our project was to buy resources and equipment to further enhance the outdoor
spaces at school and support the delivery of high quality creative and innovative
outdoor play and learning experiences.

The cycle came to an end November 23 at which time we received £1,033.60.
Grants: This year we also successfully secured an ABC £250 Floral Grant. We would
also like to acknowledge and thank the hard work and effort and
commitment form our Grants Committee this year, led by our Grant Co-ordinator
Kristin Duggan.
Fundralsers: One of our key fundraisers and highlights of this year was our Santa
Sunday Funday. We raised an amazing £3627.24. Thanks to our main sponsorAPM UK
Ltd we were able to hire in a range of fantsstic entertainers, activities and
refreshments. These includ8d Mrs Mary Clause and the Funnybone Magic Show.
Activities such as the Giant Inflatable Snow Globe, Rodeo Reindeer, Godmodex
Gaming truck and Santa's Grotto. A popcorn and slushy machine and whole sale
sweets to be sold at the event.
We would also like to extend a massive thanks to another key sponsor from Sants
Sunday, Rebecca and Ciaran McKenna for organising and donating all of the Santa
Grotto Christmas gifts for the children. Each child received a newly purchased book.
Rebecca also purchased additional gifts such as selection boxes, Christmas
thcmcd glaJQCQ Cto in the cvcnt thot wc ron out of bool(3. Any giftg not U3ed were
donated to the school.
Thank you also to Farrah McGeary for providing face painting, Ann Molloy for
donating Christmas crafts which we were able to sell and Rory Campbell our Santa
claus.with the money raised we were able to purchase four new desk top computers
and with the remainder of the money raised, to help cover costs for First Holy
Communion, Confirmation and P7 Leavers celebrations.
Easyfundrasing: This year we also continued raising funds through
easyfundraising.org. Easyfundraising partners with over 7,000 brands who will
donate part of what you spend online shopping to a cause of your choice. Our
cause currently has 60 supporters and has raised £1,549.91
Break the Rules Day Fundralser: An amazing £715 was raised!
Some of the hlghlights of thls year have also included:
Our PTA logo competition.
The setting up our new Parent Support Group Facebook page, a massive thank you
to Amanda Mccormack.
Our Primary 7 pupils receiving their PTA funded Leavers Jerseys.
First Holy Communion and Confirmation celebrations including the pizza parties. We

would like to extend a massive thank you to the Primary 3 parents for their time and
contributions to these.
The Charity ended the financial year with a closing balance of £1743.73.
