## Activities

**Purposes:** THE MAIN PURPOSE OF FND MATTERS NI WILL BE: 1.To increase awareness of the needs and issues faced by those living with Functional Neurological Disorder amongst the general public, medical professionals, educationalists and elected representatives, and to offer support, understanding and guidance to those with FND. In furtherance of this the Charity may: 2. Work towards bridging the gap between those with FND and health professionals through our main purpose of awareness raising.  3. Ensure people with Functional Neurological Disorder have access to accurate and timely diagnosis and appropriate multidisciplinary treatment care and support. 4.Offer training to volunteers, encouraging confidence, inclusion, acceptance, whilst gaining support from other FND patients and carers. 5. Provide comprehensive information by way of website, booklets, leaflets and posters. 6.Establish a specialised counselling service with FND qualified counsellors.
