The Charity funds the annual Camlough Triathlon heks in June 20rJ with participation from
many l(Kal communty groups. The Charity also makes an annual GAA award to the
nominaled recipient at Queens University Belfast Cumann Luthchths Gael.

Cancer Research - The Charty Trustees donate to Queen's University Bollast annually a
sum of money 1£145,CK)O in the finar￿1￿ year to 28 Febnjary 20241 lo facilitate further
research into the condition ot oesophageal cancer concenlrating C￿ delecling those in high
risk BarTett's Oesophagus groups.This is done in conjundion with the Patrick G Johnston
Centre for Cancer Research at Queen's University Bellasl which is an inlemalionally
recognised research ￿ntr&. The Charity Trustees attend an annual presentation from the
Centre in relation to research developrnenls throughout the current year and receive regular
updales & evalu*ions of research pr(M3ress.
On an annual basis at Christrnas the Charty makes voluntary donations to a number of Newry
organisations that were dear to heart of Brian c(￿1￿ direct charitable Giving to the

The ChaTity also works with the Communty Foundalion of Northem IrelarKI to invtte applications on
an annual basis from wmmunity organisations Yrithin the Newry geographicaF area for lunding and
SUPFQrt in the areas of education, swrt and organisations from disadvantaged areas. The Charity
then all￿aleS funding agreed by Ihe Truslees to those successful ap￿ICants. The amount ￿￿tated
for the financial year to 28 February 2024 was £30.157.60. For each grant awarded by the
Communtlies Foundation lor Northem Ireland they will fOll(Y￿ their tried arKI leste(I prctsss b)th pre
and post seleclion to ensure benerrts are beir¥J cleaty demonstrated al all time - criteria tor
