Th8 Trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 DecombeT 2024.
Objectives, Activities and Charitable Purposes
The principal purpose of the Church B the advancement of the Christian Faith according to Biblical Principles
Contain￿ within the teaching of Scripture. It exists to glorify G(Kl by maintaining and promoting His worship both
individually and corporately. and acknowledges the absolute supremacy of The Lord Jesus Christ as Head of The
Church. The membership of the Church seek to follow the teaching of Scripture and invotr￿e themselves in the
governance of the assembly, the advancement of irs aims, participation in fellowship. breaking of bread, prayer
and evangelism. The Church also may seek to advance education, the relief of poverty and sickness, the comfort
of the bereaved and the prorrntion of any other charitable purposes in the Un5ted Kingdom and other parts of the
world.
Dunseverick Baptist Church conducts regular sep4ices for public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and
teaching for all age grouF6, and provides pastoral care to the sick and elderty ofthe church through visitation and
prayer. We contribute financially to registered charitable organisations whose aim is the relief of poverty and
sickness.
The Trustees have pafd due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the
charity should undertake.
The Trustees are satisfied that the Charity has achieved its obj'ectives in the year under review.
Public Benefit
In fvIFilling the public benefft requirement. the charity trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland's statutory public benefft guidance.
The purposes of this charity and the direct benefits that flow from the charity's activities continue to be,.
As Scripture is taught. the moral code from which much of I￿lsIatiOn derives iys values from is presented. A true
sense of value is gNen to human life from conception. The Biblical command lo love our neighbour is taught,
which is a core principle of Scriptural teaching. We believe in a holistic approach to well-being, encompassing the
spititual as well as tnental and physical aspects of humanity.

- Eternal salvation arK£ adoption into the family of God through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing reconciliation both between human beiros and God and
between human beings.
The gaining of an understanding in Christian beliets as set out in the Bible and the Doctrinal Statement of the
Church leading to spirrtual and moral development and personal growth in the Christian Faith.
The provision of regular Christian education, helping people to understand, live out, defend and promote the
Christian gospel of Jesus Christ.
Practical expressions of Christian beliefs and standards in the local community such as through the care of
those in need, assistance and comfort to the sid(. elderly and bereaved.
The development of individual ability and gift through the engagement of willing volunteers in practical and
spiritual service.
- The positive impact on society that comes from the living out of a Christian worklview.
The Trustees are satisfied that the Charity has achieved its public benefft objectives in the year under review.

positive contributions of members within the wider community" and. the effects.ve pastoral care sUppO￿ng both
families and individuals. This is evidenced through regular evaluation and informal feedback from members
and those attending events, their families arKI the general public within the community in which the Church
operates. The Trustees do not anticipate that any harm will flow from any of the above purposes. The church's
beneficiaries are Church Members and adherents. and anyone who chooses to attend the church seNices
which are open to members of the general public, other indivKluals that the Church is in direct and indirect
contact wrth, the communrty in which pastoral services are provided and other communibes throughout
Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and worldwide which benefft from our engagement with and support
for both Christian and other secular organisations. The onty private benefits flowing from our purposes are the
provision of stipend for any pastor of the church who will also assume the role of Trustee and paid employrnent
for the personnel required to manage the work of the Church. Such slipend, salaries and any incurred
expenses are incidental and necessary to enable the Church to provide the pastoral and administratDie support
required to fulfil the stated Purpose.
The information below sets out the activities we have carried out to further our purposes and fulfil each of the
wblic benefft elements during the last 12 rmnths
Structure, Governance and Management
charity is registered with the Charity's Commission for Northern Ireland registration number 108748.

The Trustees have the responSi￿.￿ty for the operalional deliverance of the charity's aclivities and achievement
of the objectives.
Achievements and Perfonnance
Total incoming resources for the year amounted to £45.274 (2023 £48,253) and after deduciing total
resources expended of £57,657 (2023 - £58,526) net outgoing resources amounted to £12.383 (2023 -
£10,173).
All resources received and expended are treated as unrestrict￿￿ funds. At the year end, unrestricted funds
amounted to £166,130 (2023 - £178.513).
The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the Charty is exwsed. in particular those related to the
operations and finances, and are satisfied that systems are in place to mib.gate exposure.
Statement of Trustees. Responsibilities
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. Annual Report and the accounts in accordance with
applicable law and regulations.
The law 8pplicable to charities in Northern Ire12nd requires the Trustees to prepare accounts for each financial
year which give a true and fair view of the affairs of the charity and the incoming resources and application of
the resources, including the net income or expenditure, of the charity for the year.
I n preparing the accounts the Trustees confirm that they have done so on a going concern basis.

The Trustees are responsible for keeFMng proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at
any ts'me the financial position of the Charity and which enable them to ensure that the accounts compty with the
Charities Act (Northern Ireland), and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Chartty and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention
and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
