**Purposes:** The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian Faith according to Biblical Principles contained within the teaching of Scripture.  It exists to glorify God by maintaining and promoting His worship both individually and corporately, and acknowledges the absolute supremacy of The Lord Jesus Christ as Head of The Church. The membership of the Church seek to follow the teaching of Scripture and involve themselves in the governance of the assembly, the advancement of it's aims, participation in fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer and evangelism. The Church also may seek to advance education, the relief of poverty and sickness, the comfort of the bereaved and the promotion of any other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.
