The Church is recognised as a charity by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and was registered on 21 May 2022. Purpose of the charity as listed on the Register of Charities: The church acknowledges the headship of Jesus Christ over His church and exists to glorify the triune God by maintsining and promoting His worship both individually and corporately. Its members devote themselves to the teachings of Scripture, to fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer and evangelism. They commit, with the help of God, to witness to the saving and sustaining power of the Lord Jesus Christ and to work for the extension of His Kingdom. The principle charitable object of the church is the advancemeni of the Christian faith according to the teachings of Scripture, and the Doctrinal Statement and Baptist principles. Main activities to further its purpose for the public benefit: The Church meets the public benefit requirement by providing benefit to its members and the general public by making known the Christian gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through the advanment of the Christian faith. During 2023 the Church continued to operate in the following ways.. Sunday Services - morning and evening.
Bible study and prayer on Tuesday nights. Silver Threads meeting for older people monthly - October to June. Make -n-do craft group- weekly from September to June. Explore club for primary school children - weekly from September to March. Holiday Bible club for primary school children - one week during the summer holidays. Grief share courses as required. Financial Review: The church income for the year was £56232. The church expenditure for the year was £66007. The closing balance at 31,'12123 was f 37013. There were no restricted reserves on 31 December 2023. There are no funds held by the Church that are materially in deficit. Assets: There is no outstanding debt on the church building. Compliance: All the trustees have complied with their duty under charity law to have regard to the Commission's public benefit guidan when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidan is relevant.
