## ’ Caring Adventures – Trustee s Annual Report April 2024 - 2025

Caring Adventures was born out of one of life’s toughest journeys of loss and sadness which led to a desire to help children and their families who are faced with some of life’s toughest battles. Our mission is to turn difficult journeys into love filled, happiness captivated adventures when adversary comes to your door. It comprises of --- adults who by grace and through faith are dedicated to helping others heal trauma and rise up again out of the ashes of tragedy to rebuild a new and different journey. The purposes of the Caring Adventures:  To assist with relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or financial hardship  To assist with the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship for families  To advance culture and community sites for the benefit of the community to enable every child to access outdoor activities, regardless of life limiting conditions Eva is our brave brain tumour warrior who is Forever 7 and the inspiration behind Caring Adventures. As we struggled to navigate the world of “childhood cancer” we came to recognise the barriers children and families face when they hear those words, words no family should ever have to hear about their precious child. We have been in existence since March 2018 as Eva’s Adventures and received Charitable Status on 7[th] June 2022 (Charity Number: 108632) under the name Caring Adventures. We have developed and maintained an excellent relationship with local councillors, MLA’s and local community activists. We have a developed website: evasadventures.com and are active on the social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram to highlight that showing love and giving cuddles can support even the toughest adventures with incredible memories. We have developed a strong reputation through our advocacy and support of others and work to benefit activities in our local community and the wider community, raising awareness for families dealing with “childhood cancer”. On May 17[th] , 2025, we carried out a street collection raising £2,300 which was donated to “Challenge, a registered charity supporting Kids with Cancer”. To date in 2026 we attended the Balmoral Show with children’s books written and sold to raise funds for children living with cancer. We are also opening a store front in Co Armagh within the coming months, where these books will be on sale for charity. Further, we have plans for a street collection at Christmas. Money raised we hope will help children living with cancer, locally.
