**Purposes:** The making of provision for the former residents of the Home maintained by the Settlor for the at 12 Annadale Avenue Belfast by providing to them such aids and comforts and physical and financial assistance as from time to time are appropriate to their needs of any surplus including after all such former residents have died shall be given to Queen’s University of Belfast Foundation to be applied for research, carried out by the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science, or such other body within the University which may from time to time assume its research functions, into the prevention, alleviation, treatment and cure of blindness, diseases and disorders of the eye and impairment of sight.
