3. Purpose of Charity
The Association is established:
Altamuskin without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities and voluntary organisations in a common e�ort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and physical education.
b. The advancement of the educational, moral, mental, social, physical and cultural wellbeing of the students of St Brigid’s Primary School, Altamuskin and other children of the area without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion.
c. The fostering of good relations between parents, teachers, students, Board of Governors, past pupils, Sta�, Management, Past Sta�, local Churches and the school authorities of St Brigid’s Primary School, Altamuskin.

5. Financial year
1st September 2023 – 31st August 2024
6. Summary of main activities through the year:

Children and family & friends of the school community were invited to help with gardening and clear up around school;

In December 2023 the school were shortlisted for the Family First NI Awards for School of the Year. The PTA purchased a table at the Awards dinner for all sta� members at the School.

In December 2023 and January 2024 one of the schoolteachers and one of the classroom assistants were getting married and the PTA provided a presentation costing £100 to both members of sta� as a gift from the school community.

In February 2024 the PTA paid Simply Sensory (Sharon) £600 to carry out Sensory activities for Foundation Stage and Key Stage One at the school. This includes Music, Movement, Makaton and Sensory.

Continuing to help with outside play equipment, outside learning and health & wellbeing. The PTA helped fund a clean up outside the school to aid this project. As regards outdoor equipment – parents provided support with outside equipment help /clear up where required.

PTA meetings and group chat were carried out where required throughout the year.

Organising Mairead & Pauline Mullin Football Tournament (Altamuskin Cup) to include local schools. Cups to be engraved. Volunteers helped at event on and o� pitch.

After school sport 1 day a week was organised by one of the teachers with o�er of support from PTA where required.

During the year preparing bank statements and information for year end.

DAERA funding grant application made aiming to help purchase 4 iPads to help educational needs of children and families in the community. We will be notified in September 2024 if successful.
7. Review of Financial Position at 31st August 2024
The funds of the charity remain stable.
Total in bank increased by £659.94 from previous year.
