3. Purpose of Charity
The Association is established:
Altamuskin without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities and voluntary organisations in a common e�ort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare and physical education.
b. The advancement of the educational, moral, mental, social, physical and cultural wellbeing of the students of St Brigid’s Primary School, Altamuskin and other children of the area without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion.
c. The fostering of good relations between parents, teachers, students, Board of Governors, past pupils, Sta�, Management, Past Sta�, local Churches and the school authorities of St Brigid’s Primary School, Altamuskin.

5. Financial year

6. Summary of main activities through the year:

Children and family & friends of school community invited to help with gardening and clear up around school for start of school term;

During the year preparing bank statements and information to accountant for Charity Commission application;

Larger emphasis on outside play equipment and outside learning since Covid. As a follow up to earlier grants and money spent on outside play: In July 2022 – the PTA received notification of successful application with Slieve Divenna Community fund for wheel-barrows, gloves and garden tools etc for polytunnel. The goods were purchased by the PTA in November 2022. Omagh forum provided the money in December 2022.

application for school canopy for outside education which was unsuccessful. Any work put into these grants will be saved for any future opportunities.

PTA meetings and group chat were carried out where required throughout the year;

Outdoor equipment – sourcing equipment such as pallets, tyres that we can use for school polytunnel, gardening project continuation from year to year.

Organising Mairead & Pauline Mullin Football Tournament (Altamuskin Cup) to include local schools. Cups to be engraved. Volunteers for helping at event on and o� pitch.

After school sport 1 day a week was organised by one of the teachers with o�er of support from PTA if required.

In November 2022 the PTA paid AB coaching to carry out 3 x days of Mindfulness for the children at the school to help the mental wellbeing of the children.

In Autumn / Winter 2022 the school acquired bunting to help decorate the school during a local sporting event. PTA members volunteered and helped put up the bunting.

In February 2023 the school PTA sadly lost a member of our committee and a parent to one of the children at the school. The PTA purchased a wreath.

In April 2023 one of the schoolteachers were getting married and the PTA provided a presentation costing £100 to the teacher as a gift from the school community.
We appreciate grant aid throughout the year as follows:

7. Review of Financial Position at 30[th] September 2023
The funds of the charity remain stable. Any grant money received had to be spent on the project.
